My name is Rico Ventenilla, a resident of Pualani Estate with my wife and son since 2008. I have lived in Hawaii after moving from the Philippines when I was 9 years old. I have been teaching High School for 20 years, currently teaching at my Alma Mater Konawaena High School. I am also a head wrestling coach. I received my Masters in Education at Walden University.

My wife and I served the community for over 20 years. Now, I would like to also serve in the Pualani Estate Committee. I would like to bring ALOHA to our community.

DEE ANN WUNSCHEL - Lot #119

There is a need for financial responsibility and that need is being ignored and abused by the current board. The current board spent more than $5,000.00 per month on services of Hawaiiana and more than $5,600.00 per month on attorneys.

This money can be better spent on championing issues directly benefitting our Ohana rather than pursuing legal actions against its own members. The current board does not treat homeowners like the Ohana that we all are. It is time we take back control of our community.

JOEL GIMPEL - Lot #241

As a former director and immediate past President of the Pualani Estates at Kona Homeowner's Association, I'm concerned that the current Board has spent an inordinate amount of funds for legal, parliamentarian and Hawaiiana Management services while not dealing adequately with outdated Declarations and Bylaws and ignoring many issues, including traffic and noise, adversely affecting our community.

If elected, my focus will be on economically serving our community with projects designed to improve the quality of life in our community and to preserve and protect our property values, while fostering transparency in Board operations.

WILLIAM CULHANE - Lot #117

I am one of a group of reform minded owners who believe the current Board has misplaced priorities. They have wasted our money and shut us out of decision making. We can do better. We have a plan to improve our Association and give you, the homeowner, a greater voice and on all issues. We want to improve transparency, reduce waste, and address community needs.

Cindy and I have lived in Pualani Estates for 8 years. We are coordinators of one of the largest food pantries in West Hawaii. I have a Masters of Management from Northwestern with extensive experience managing budgets and people including 2 terms as president of a condo association in Illinois.

Please name me as your proxy designate.
